Lewis hands over his sponsor money to Berwick RNLI
Lewis Bruin aged 10 hands over his sponsor money which he raised after taking the plunge into the freezing North Sea on Boxing Day, a brilliant £289.50.
This lad, is one of Berwick’s bravest as Lewis is no ordinary little boy, Lewis suffers from heart problems, but on speaking to him he said, ‘ I think it is a good idea as it is the lifeboat people who are really brave.’
He came to the lifeboat station and is pictured with his proud father who is on the lifeboat launching crew, mother and Head and Deputy Coxswains.
From all at Berwick lifeboat station we would like to say, ‘Lewis well done what a fantastic achievement.’
